We had a great trip in Sept to compete in Soldier Hollow as well as The Meeker Classic. I also had the privilege of been one of the four judges for the USA finals. My dogs did really well coming second and third in Soldier Hollow and at Meeker we managed to get a fifth place in the final.

Trial in Coligny “You are crazy”

 Sheepdogs make you do stupid things sometimes. During the weekend of 8 and 9 August there was a trial at Coligny in the North West Province.

Since this would be the last trial I could participate in before going to the USA, I decided to enter my dogs. Christoph and Senta Schulenburg hosted the trial. Christoph had told me that their sheep fight the dogs and that the course would be challenging, and this was just what I was looking for.

Elmarie and I are very privilege to make another trip to the USA in Sept. I am very honored that they ask me to be one of the four judges at their National Finals. We are taking Jill and Don to compete in Soldier Hollow Classic as well as the Meeker Classic. The USA Nationals is a week later and starts on the 22 Sept. We also have a few days open were I will do some lessons in Parker Denver as well as Steamboat Springs. I am really looking forward to see all the friends we made on our previous visit.
